Founded in 2006, the Eskişehir Mevlevihane Cultural Association and our Eskişehir Mevlevihane Culture & Education Foundation, established in December 2019, aim to provide the necessary material and moral support to preserve, protect, and develop the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Eskişehir Mevlevihane Kurşunlu Complex and similar historical sites in Turkey; to conduct research on the works and ideas of Mevlâna Celâleddin-i Rûmi; to contribute to our national and spiritual values by developing projects about Mevlana and Mevlevi Order; to assist studies both inside and outside the country on this subject; to produce various projects and trainings aimed at raising the social and cultural level of our country’s youth; to revive the touristic structure of Eskişehir and its region; to carry out activities serving the region and encourage such social activities.

  • Principles of Work: Our Association and Foundation carefully avoid discrimination based on religion, language, race, gender, ethnicity, nationality, and culture as well as any kind of prejudice; they prioritize an approach based on mutual love, tolerance, peace, and friendship among people from different countries.
  • Areas of Work and Collaboration Approach: Our Association and Foundation realize their social functions and goals through various activities including research, education, and at our KURŞUNLU LIBRARY, librarianship-archiving, printed and electronic publications, documentary films, radio and television programs, production of art and literary works in the field, museology-exhibition activities, cultural tourism, and similar works, either by performing, commissioning, or supporting these activities. They organize competitions and activities, give awards or ensure awards are given. They also collaborate with all individuals, groups, initiatives, and organizations working in parallel domestically and internationally.
  • Organizational Principles: Our Association and Foundation base their operation and management primarily on voluntary contribution.
