Our foundation's center is the Kurşunlu Library, a charming two-porch building located right beside the historic Kurşunlu Mosque in Odunpazarı. Over its 450+ year history, this building has served many purposes — from an elementary school to a kitchen, and later as a library. After being closed down for nearly 85 years, our Foundation restored it to its original purpose as a library.
Today, the Kurşunlu Library welcomes visitors to explore the works of Hz. Mevlâna, books written about him, the writings of other Sufi masters, other religions, Ottoman history and culture, and the rich cultural heritage of Eskişehir. With its unique atmosphere, the library is not only a place of learning, but also a peaceful retreat or study hall for students. We warmly invite you to visit and enjoy a cup of Turkish tea with us.
