Eskişehir Mevlevihanesi

"Hangi tarafa bakarsan bak Beni görürsün!"

Hakkımızda

Eskişehir Mevlevihane was established in the 16th century during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent by Ottoman vizier Çoban Mustafa Pasha, within the Kurşunlu Complex in Odunpazarı. The Mevlevihane played a key role in spreading Mevlana's teachings during the Ottoman period and contributed to the development of Sufi culture in the region. In 1925, with the closure of dervish lodges and zawiyas in Turkey, the Mevlevihane was also forced to cease its activities.

Founded in 2006, the Eskişehir Mevlevihane Cultural Association and the Eskişehir Mevlevihane Culture and Education Foundation organize various artistic and educational activities to revive this historical heritage and keep Mevlana's teachings alive today.
